Pam Bondi launches Hail Mary Epstein move in desperate attempt to win back MAGA

After nearly two weeks of mounting outrage from his own supporters, President Donald Trump has finally ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to unseal confidential grand jury documents in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation — a dramatic shift that comes amid renewed controversy over a bizarre birthday letter allegedly linked to the president.

On Friday evening, Bondi filed a formal motion with the Southern District of New York requesting the release of secret grand jury transcripts related to Epstein and his longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell. The move came less than 24 hours after Trump publicly gave the green light.

“This Court should conclude that the Epstein and Maxwell cases qualify as a matter of public interest,” wrote Bondi and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, “and lift any preexisting protective orders.”

The motion, while highly anticipated, does not guarantee immediate results. Legal experts say unsealing grand jury testimony is notoriously difficult and could take months — or even years — to succeed, if courts approve it at all.
