White House Trump ‘Win’ Video Features Some Very Unlikely Fans
The White House marked Donald Trump’s 200th day in office with a self-congratulatory post that came with an unexpected twist.
On Thursday, the official White House X account boasted that Trump does nothing but “win,” declaring, “We don’t sleep — we win.” The post linked to a glossy video montage of supposed presidential victories, spliced with clips from movies and TV shows.
The irony? Many of the celebrities featured have publicly and forcefully opposed Trump. Among them: Will Ferrell, who last year endorsed Kamala Harris and campaigned for her in New York City, and Leonardo DiCaprio, who urged voters to reject Trump over his climate policy stance, writing, “We need leaders who are equipped to enact climate policies that will help save the planet.”
Other surprise cameos in the hype reel included Tiger Woods, Nick Offerman, Jenna Fischer, Keanu Reeves, and Jeremy Allen White — some of whom have either avoided political endorsement or expressed views at odds with Trump’s.
The result: a White House celebration that doubled as a reminder that not everyone in the highlight reel is actually on the president’s team.
