House Republican investigators probing Nashville’s handling of federal immigration enforcement are now expanding their focus to the violent unrest in Los Angeles, according to a key lawmaker involved in the effort. Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., who is helping spearhead the House GOP’s investigation into Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, said that lawmakers are also closely monitoring events unfolding in Los Angeles, where protesters have clashed with law enforcement following recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.
