Florida law enforcement has successfully dismantled a large-scale fraud ring responsible for illegally issuing driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants, according to a statement released by Attorney General James Uthmeier. The scheme, which allegedly involved corrupt Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) employees, allowed hundreds of individuals to obtain licenses without completing the legally required steps—including road and written tests—by paying illicit fees.
