Poll: Americans think Iran poses a real threat to US security, but split on Israel’s strikes

As tensions in the Middle East erupt into open confrontation, a new poll reveals a nation increasingly concerned about Iran’s threat to U.S. security—yet still deeply conflicted over Israel’s military actions and Washington’s role in the region.

According to the latest Fox News survey, 73% of registered voters now view Iran as a real national security threat, marking a notable 13-point surge since the question was last posed in 2019. The uptick comes at a moment of intense global scrutiny, as images of Iranian missiles raining down on Tel Aviv have dominated screens and social feeds.
