‘South Park’ Skewers Trump, ICE Raids, and Heaven in Blistering New Episode
In its latest episode, South Park unleashes one of its most savage political commentaries yet, targeting the Trump administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and the far right — all while turning its satirical firepower toward an unlikely location: heaven itself.
The episode begins with Mr. Mackey, the long-suffering school counselor, being fired from his job and joining ICE. It’s not long before he’s thrown into the chaos of aggressive immigration raids under the leadership of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem — depicted here with an absurdly violent flair. Noem is shown shooting dogs at every turn, including a service dog and even Krypto, Superman’s canine sidekick. The violence becomes more cartoonishly grotesque with each scene, underlining the show’s critique of Noem’s real-world persona and policies.
In one of the episode’s most outrageous moments, Noem orders an ICE raid on heaven itself after a protester comments that “there are many, many Latinos in heaven.” In response, a swarm of ICE vehicles crashes through the pearly gates. Agents storm the clouds, tear off halos, and roughly detain angelic residents.
“Only detain the brown ones,” Noem instructs ICE agents mid-raid. “If it’s brown, it goes down.” After the operation, she exclaims, “No more brownies in heaven!” — just before she guns down an angel dog for good measure.
Mr. Mackey, now a rising ICE star, gets invited to Mar-a-Lago to be congratulated by President Trump. Trump is portrayed in a white leisure suit and accompanied by a tiny Vice President J.D. Vance — a parody of Mr. Roarke and Tattoo from Fantasy Island. When Vance asks, “What is his fantasy, boss?” Trump promptly punts him across the room like a football.
Things take a darker turn when Trump invites Mackey into his bedroom, rips off his pants, and reveals Satan lounging in bed. That’s the final straw for Mackey, who bolts in horror.
The episode also takes aim at right-wing podcasting culture, as students Clyde Donovan and Eric Cartman launch competing shows. Cartman broadcasts from a locked bathroom in full Charlie Kirk mode, hoping to become a “master debater.” He’s literally podcasting from a toilet, mocking the grifter aesthetic of low-budget hyper-partisan media.
This week’s satire follows a recent episode where South Park depicted a disturbingly realistic (and fully nude) Trump staggering deliriously through the desert, complete with commentary on his anatomy. That scene alone sparked online uproar — and this week’s escalation only cements the show’s no-holds-barred stance on Trump’s return to power.
The White House quickly dismissed the show as “irrelevant,” but ICE itself drew attention by bizarrely sharing a screenshot from the episode’s promo in an actual recruitment post. South Park responded in classic form: “Eat a bag of dicks.”
The episode is now streaming on Paramount+ — and it’s already being hailed as one of the show’s most ferocious political takedowns in years.
