Sicko liberals celebrating the death of little girls in Texas floods tells you everything about the new evil rot

Just when you think the ultra-woke left can’t sink any lower, a new level of depravity emerges — and this one is almost too grotesque to believe. In the wake of the devastating floods in Texas that tragically claimed the lives of several young girls at a Christian summer camp, some self-described progressives responded not with sympathy, sorrow, or silence — but with celebration.

That’s right. They actually cheered the deaths of little girls — drowned on the Fourth of July, no less — simply because those girls came from Christian families attending a Christian camp in red-state America.

Let that sink in.

These are children. And yet, to a certain radical segment of the modern American left, their deaths were seen not as heartbreaking, but as some twisted form of cosmic justice — punishment for the families’ presumed values, beliefs, or geographic identity.

It’s the latest symptom of a moral sickness infecting the soul of this country.

Many of these radicals know exactly how vile their behavior is — and they just don’t care. In fact, some wear their cruelty like a badge of honor.

Take, for example, Sade Perkins, a Houston mayoral appointee and Princeton fellow who posted a now-viral TikTok video about the drowned girls. She began her video with a warning that has become all too familiar among those who say the unsayable:
“I know I’m going to get canceled for this.”

And yet — she kept going.

Rather than stop and reflect on the enormity of what she was about to say, she plowed ahead, using the tragic deaths of innocent children to make a grotesque political point. In what world is that acceptable?

Where is the compassion? Where is the basic decency?

This is a profound shift from a time — not that long ago — when we could all agree that the deaths of children were universally tragic, beyond politics, ideology, or creed. Today, for a subset of activist radicals, empathy is conditional. It’s doled out based on your political affiliation, your religion, your race, or your zip code.

And this isn’t just about one person’s offensive video. It reflects a broader, disturbing trend among elements of the progressive left: a growing tendency to mock, dehumanize, and even rejoice in the suffering of those they deem “the other.”

The same people who demand “safe spaces” and scream about “compassion” are the first to dehumanize those who don’t agree with their worldview. And when tragedy strikes, they reveal their true colors — not through empathy, but through hatred cloaked in moral superiority.

This is the same mindset that fuels extremist rhetoric online — where pro-abortion activists post memes celebrating termination, where religious Americans are mocked as backward, and where tragedies are filtered through a political lens to determine whether or not they are worth mourning.

It’s the rot at the core of a new ideology that is less about justice and more about vengeance.

The young girls who lost their lives in the Texas floods didn’t ask to become symbols of anyone’s agenda. They were daughters, sisters, friends. They were children on a summer adventure, never imagining that a wall of water would end their lives.

They deserve to be mourned, remembered, and honored — not mocked.

If we’ve reached the point where the death of a child becomes a punchline or a political gotcha moment, then the cultural crisis we’re facing in America is far deeper than any election can fix.

This isn’t about left versus right. This is about human decency versus inhuman cruelty.

There was a time when we could come together — even across deep divides — to grieve innocent lives lost. That time is slipping away, and we should all be alarmed.

Because if this is what “progress” looks like, then we are sprinting toward something very dark.
