I died for two minutes and was brought back to life… these are the shocking things I saw

She vividly recalls the moment her consciousness separated from her body. Lying lifeless on a hospital bed, she says she felt herself being “gently pulled” upward — away from the noise, pain, and panic of the physical world — into what she describes as a tunnel made of light.

“It wasn’t just light — it was alive,” she told NeedToKnow. “I was passing through a corridor of soft blue and white. Not like a beam, but a tunnel that almost breathed. There was no fear. No time. It felt like being called home.”

Nicole describes this passage not as a blur, but as something intensely sensory — the light had warmth, sound, even musical tones, like “music made of water.”

At the end of this surreal journey, she says, was a vast, glowing space — a chamber of shimmering energy, unlike anything on Earth. The colors were “not of this world” — radiant silvers, ethereal violets, and vibrant blues that shimmered but didn’t strain the eyes.

“The space felt infinite,” she said. “It pulsed gently, like it had a heartbeat. That’s when I saw them.”

Blue Beings from “Another World”
Nicole says she was met by what she calls “blue-skinned beings with human faces” — tall, majestic, and deeply familiar. She compares their appearance to the characters from the film Avatar, but with a more peaceful, almost divine presence.

“They didn’t speak with words, but I understood them perfectly. They told me that life — this life — is an illusion. That real life begins when we die.”

According to Nicole, two towering beings sat on marble-like thrones, their bodies radiating soft energy. They had large indigo eyes, gills on their cheeks, and tails covered in iridescent scales. Though they appeared part male and part female, there was something deeply androgynous — and deeply comforting — about them.

She said the beings told her, telepathically, that she was never meant to bear children — and that the child she lost during childbirth was not a tragedy, but a necessary crossing. Her true purpose, they told her, was to teach others what lies beyond.

“It wasn’t cruel. It was calm, and full of knowing,” Nicole said. “They told me I had a gift — not to bring life into the world, but to bring light to those who fear death.”

Back to the Body — And Forever Changed
Though her time in that realm felt eternal, just two minutes had passed when Nicole’s heart began beating again. She was brought back into her physical body — but not as the same person who had left it.

“I didn’t want to return. I felt more known, more loved, than I had ever felt in my life,” she said. “That place — it wasn’t a dream. It was home.”

But her return was far from ordinary. Her husband, Christos — a 65-year-old specialized doctor — tried to speak to her. Nicole, however, could only respond in a high-pitched, unfamiliar language she had never learned.

“It sounded like dolphin clicks,” she said. “It went on for minutes. Everyone was stunned — but I couldn’t stop it. It was coming through me, not from me.”

Nicole described her senses as hyper-aware — she could perceive people’s emotions as colors, hear their voices as vibrations. She believes she was still partly attuned to the dimension she had briefly entered.

She says she now regularly sees visions of the blue beings, and believes they belong to the Apkallu, a so-called interdimensional tribe of ancient demigods, not aliens, who were said in Sumerian mythology to have given civilization to mankind.

A Mission Rooted in Love
Nicole believes her experience has given her a message to share with the world — that “love is stronger than death,” and that humanity’s real home lies beyond the physical.

“We’re all one big family,” she says. “Religions, borders, politics — they’re all part of the illusion. Everything that exists came from the same spark.”

She adds that fear and hatred are the tools that divide and control people — but that love is the universal constant, the force that connects everything.

“I’m no longer afraid of dying,” Nicole concluded. “Because now I know — death isn’t the end. It’s the return to where we truly belong.”
