As the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform intensifies its investigation into the Biden administration—focusing on the alleged use of the presidential autopen and claims of a coordinated effort to obscure President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline—new voices are emerging with firsthand accounts.
In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, a former Democratic National Committee (DNC) fundraiser and National Finance Committee member identified only as Li shared detailed allegations about the internal dynamics of the Biden White House.
Li claims to have had “a front-row seat to Joe Biden’s presidency and the people who pulled the strings behind the scenes,” suggesting that while the president bore some responsibility, real control lay with others.
“[Biden is] definitely complicit, but there were a lot of people behind him, like puppet masters,” Li said.
One of those individuals, according to Li, was First Lady Jill Biden, whom she accused of deliberately enabling and covering for the president’s condition. “She very much knew what she was doing. What she did was absolutely elder abuse. There is no question in my mind,” Li asserted.
Li alleged that Jill Biden frequently appeared on the campaign trail in her husband’s place, presenting herself as the face of the campaign and the administration. “Joe was not able to do a lot of campaign events, so Jill would come out on his behalf, acting like the president or the presidential candidate,” she said. “That’s why she graced the Vogue cover three times. She loved it.”
According to Li, two people were pivotal in President Biden’s decision to seek a second term: Jill Biden and Hunter Biden. “Hunter Biden’s freedom was on the line and Jill’s ego was on the line,” she claimed, alleging that both had personal stakes in the continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency.
Li went so far as to suggest that Jill Biden was, in effect, the one running the administration. “She was in control of the White House, not Joe,” she concluded.
Li also accused senior White House staffers of participating in a broad cover-up, naming Anthony Bernal—a longtime aide and senior advisor to the First Lady—as a central figure. “They deny the cover-up, but I had a front-row seat watching it happen,” she said. “People like Anthony Bernal. I saw him running the White House like he was in charge, like he was a king.”
Bernal, who recently refused to testify before the Oversight Committee, was subsequently issued a deposition subpoena by Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY).
“It’s just so amazing now to see him dodge a subpoena and completely avoid accountability,” Li said. “He can run, but he can’t hide. His name is going to go down in infamy forever.”
In addition to Bernal, Li named several other high-ranking aides she claims were instrumental in managing day-to-day White House operations: former Deputy Chief of Staff Bruce Reed, Counselor to the President Steve Ricchetti, and senior advisors Mike Donilon and Anita Dunn.
Li also pointed to Neera Tanden, former domestic policy advisor, as having played a key role in allegedly enabling executive actions via autopen when, in her words, “Biden was manifestly unqualified and unable to prosecute the duties of the office.”
With more insiders stepping forward and cooperating with the Oversight Committee’s investigation, the inquiry appears to be gaining momentum—suggesting that what began as a concern over administrative procedures could evolve into a far-reaching examination of presidential authority and inner-circle governance.
