Five young children are now facing life without their mother after a brutal and horrifying attack shattered their world — right in front of their eyes.
Sharmaine Forpahl, a 32-year-old single mom from Cleveland, was viciously stabbed to death just steps from her home on July 10, with all five of her children present during the attack, according to Cleveland 19 News. Police say her body was found near the entrance to their house in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood.
The gruesome killing left her children — ages 7 to 15 — traumatized. “She was stabbed to death in front of her kids,” wrote Ciara Drake, Forpahl’s best friend, in a heartbreaking GoFundMe post set up to support the grieving siblings. “Her body was found just a few steps from her front door, leaving her children devastated and without their mother.”
