Newly released audio from a 2024 family court hearing captures Travis Decker, the Washington father now accused of murdering his three young daughters, pleading emotionally with a judge to let him spend more time with them. The bodies of Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) were discovered in a wooded area roughly 30 miles from Rock Island Campground, according to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. The search, which began locally, was taken over by federal authorities on June 8 due to the extensive terrain and Decker’s military background. A former Army serviceman, Decker was noted to have “extensive” survival training.
