Twerk Session On Police Cruiser Backfires… Facial Recognition AI Tracks Down 2 Of The Girls And Warrants Start Flying!

Authorities in Richmond Heights, Ohio, have used facial recognition technology to track down women caught on video twerking on a police vehicle.

The incident, which took place in June, was captured by a dashboard camera and shows several women dancing provocatively on the parked police car. One woman climbed onto the push bumper, while another jumped up onto the hood and began twerking. According to police, the dancing caused visible damage to the vehicle.

“There’s a small dent and a noticeable crease. We haven’t repaired it yet,” an officer explained. “There was also a pretty significant scratch that stretched across the front.”

To identify the suspects, police enlisted help from the Northeast Ohio Regional Fusion Center, which used Clearview AI—a facial recognition tool that scans social media and other online databases to match faces and confirm identities.

Thanks to the software, two of the three women involved have been positively identified. Arrest warrants have been issued, and authorities say they are working to locate all individuals responsible.
