BROOKLYN, NY — In a tragic and unexpected loss, celebrated television chef and Food Network star Anne Burrell was found dead early Tuesday morning, June 17, at her home in Brooklyn. The 55-year-old culinary icon was discovered unconscious and unresponsive, and despite efforts by emergency personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
